2012 – Year of the Zombie
Dear Kill Matilda degenerates;
Don’t let the advent of the new year fool you into thinking that the fight against the undead is over. The year ahead of us presents even more challenges, especially when it comes to fighting the consuming undead. We saw them in record numbers over the holidays, shuffling and moaning mindlessly through the malls and at the bars, dead to the sounds of rock and roll all around them. Well boys and girls.. this year the hammer comes down on those rotting freaks – Kill Matilda is coming to a town near you.
HAPPY END OF THE YEAR!
We had a crazy awesome year this 2011. Big ups to all our fans and supporters – we released a new album, toured coast-to-coast, played 70 – thats right, SEVENTY – shows, and opened for some of our favourite bands. Oh, and did I mention we played at North by Northeast?
Stay tuned for some new-yearsy news coming at you later this December.. we are making big plans for 2012! Love you all!

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED 08.23.2011
Canadian hard punk rockers Kill Matilda are back with a vengeance, but this time it’s not just Matilda they’re after. Releasing their debut full-length, I Want Revenge, on October 11th and hitting the road on their Zombie Apocalypse Tour across Canada, Kill Matilda is on the hunt to find, capture and destroy zombies wreaking havoc across the land – it’s a zombicide mission and no one’s more equipped to carry it out than Kill Matilda.
“This will be our biggest and most ambitious tour to date, in support of our best album to date, and we plan to commit zombicide in every major city across Canada while rocking out, drinking beers and saving beautiful women from the brain-eating living dead from coast to coast,” comments bassist Mykel Exner.
With their most powerful tools in hand – their music and live show – Kill Matilda is ready to set out, so the only question is: Which side are you on?

Redrum! Redrum!
If you haven’t already heard, July and August are REDRUM REDRUM month! We’ve already kicked off the summer tour with early July dates in Sudbury, Cambridge, Toronto and Saint Catharines.. big love to Econoline Crush for letting us open for them twice! Big Ass Summer Plans
Well, summer is swiftly upon us and Kill Matilda will be making sexy hay while the sun shines… First up, we will be playing North by Northeast festival (NXNE) in Toronto this June 18.. check it out at www.nxne.com for more information. After that we will be rendez-vousing with Canadian classics Econoline Crush on July 2nd in Cambridge, ON. For more info please check out the SHOW page. Last but not least we’ll be rockin’ a short tour with our Vancouver friends Ready Set Die through Ontario and Quebec – dates to be released in June!! ‘She’s A Killer’ has been accepted into ‘light rotation’ on the Much Loud channel, meaning it will be shown on a loop about 4x a day. MuchMusic will also feature ‘She’s A Killer’ on the Much Loud show on Wednesday, November 17th. Check it out on their website here!
